I have been using this to crochet hats for my daughter and her little friends, and this is my yarn of choice. It washes great, looks as nice today as it did before I washed them three or four times, holds shape, and is not fuzzy and old looking after washing like other yarns I have used. But yes, every single color, and every ball has one or two knots where the yarn broke in it and they tied if off poorly. For the price and Martha's name on it, I continue to be frustrated. But yes, I love this yarn. I know that what I make with it will look good for as long as it will be used.
Pros: QualityEasy to usePerformed well
Cons: Expensiveknots to hide

I have to say, I am a complete yarn snob, really, I work at a LYS, work with the best, however, this yarn will be my go to yarn for all my baby needs now!!! It is a little pricey, but, I'll pay. It is super soft, works up wonderful, so far, I'm almost done with my project, have not washed/blocked yet, but I have high hopes!

I really like the feel of the wool and how it knits, but found quite a few flaws in the wool. This is not something you expect when the wool is a little more expensive.

The Martha stewart yarn has beautiful colours, but every skein I have bought (over 10) has had TONS of snags and knots! The only reason I am buying so many is to fulfill a customer order. After this order I will never buy this yarn again.

I was very disappointed in this yarn. It looked lovely and perfect for the cardigan that I wanted to knit for my granddaughter. However, the yarn was ragged in several places and was not woven in one continuous strand. It had several knots in it where it was joined together. I've found that in other yarns I've purchased in the U.S. but I didn't expect it in a Martha Stewart, relatively expensive yarn. I will not use this again.
Cons: ExpensiveLow quality
